You are a true light worker.

Have you ever had a dream come true? I have, it started with Joanna guiding me to become a community leader. Out of school I had no idea what I wanted to do, all I knew is that I wanted to work for myself. After participating a leadership program with Joanna as my mentor and friend I was given permission and the skills to dream and more importantly to chase those dreams. Few years later I have achieved my ‘big’ dream and I’m now living my truest life chasing even bigger dreams. Thank you Joanna

Joanna held an online space for an intimate group of artists with grace, curiosity, sensitivity and joy. Her work on mindfulness and compassion holds great value in understanding how we relate to our wellbeing within our artistic practice. Being invited to gradually build a new community of multi-disciplinary artists became an additional healing balm during this global rupture, an opportunity made even more special as I could re-connect in real-time from the United Kingdom back into the South Australian arts landscape.

What a gift you are Joanna Giannes. Arete, in you and us. Athena, wise woman, sage, teacher, storyteller, creator of safe space for others stories, able to intuit what individuals and the group needed. Thanks from the heart.

Fantastic, an enriching and meaningful experience to shine a light on gloomy times.

I loved learning more about mindfulness and being given practical tools to help facilitate that.

Very helpful course identifying the need for self-compassion in creative practice, with the chance to learn in a group setting some great practices for helping maintain clear perspectives.

Enjoyable, relaxing and supportive. These workshops provide practical techniques that promote well-being.

It became a highlight in my week, something I looked forward to!
